The highlight of the Charity’s year was another resounding success.

Peter Alliss Masters AGM (25 Sep 2017)

The Charity's AGM took place at Old Thorns in Liphook, Hampshire on Monday 25th September 2017 and the minutes can be viewed by clicking on 'AGMs' under the 'Charity Admin' tab.

Helsby host a night of Glitz & Glamour (9 Sep 2017)

Helsby GC hosted a night of Glitz & Glamour at Chester Racecourse at the weekend.

The event was extremely well attended by members and friends of Helsby along with a number of celebrities, including TV's Lucy Meecock and actress Emma Cunniffe.

Four powered wheelchairs were presented to local youngsters and a further £7,000+ was raised for the cause as Helsby GC PWA continues to lead the Charity's fundraising efforts.

Leek GC hold their Charity Day (22 Jul 2017)

Leek Golf Club held their Charity Day on 22nd July 2017 and presented a chair to Jack Watts, aged 12, from Stoke on Trent.

Jack is pictured being presented with his chair by Ivor Povey and this year’s Captain of Leek GC Phill Davies.

Peter & friends present at the Open (19 Jul 2017)

A great day was had by all at the Open when Peter and Jackie Alliss, PAM Chairman Hamish MacLeod and some of our marvellous friends and supporters were joined by R&A Captain Keith McIntosh in presenting powered wheelchairs to eight amazing young people.

Chairs were presented as follows:
Joe Brough (14 yrs) from Blerton, Stoke on Trent – presented by R&A
Rebecca Carey (8 yrs.) from Congleton – presented by Cooden Beach GC
Joa Cleaver (16 yrs.) from Cranage, Cheshire – presented by Macclesfield GC
Rob Fletcher (18 yrs.) from Lichfield – presented by Oake Manor GC
Leo Bailey Heath (7 yrs.) Werrington, Staffs – presented by Helsby GC
Kierra Stewart (10 yrs.) from Liverpool – presented by British Turkey Federation
Joseph Whitworth (9 yrs.) Poynton, Cheshire – presented by British Turkey Federation
Dominic Morgan (19 yrs.) from Crewe – presented by Peter Alliss Masters

A huge thank you goes out to all concerned for making this possible.

Tytherington 200 hold their annual fundraiser (Jun 2017)

Well done to everyone from the Tytherington 200 group for another magnificent year of fundraising. Another £4,000 was raised towards a powered wheelchair and, in the photo, we can see Ellie Nield receiving her chair surrounded by family and friends.

Helsby GC holds its annual Wheelchair Classic (8 Jun 2017)

On a bright sunny June day, Helsby hosted their annual “Wheelchair Classic” charity fundraiser. There was a golf competition with approximately 160 players, a meal and then the highlight was the presentation of wheelchairs in the evening to deserving local youngsters. Finally a raffle and charity auction took place and a fantastic total of around £16,000 was raised on the day!

The wheelchairs were presented to –

Sophia Flood aged 5 from Northwich
Lily Wakeling aged 15 from Heswall
Bethany Kelly aged 16 from Uttoxeter

The youngsters were joined on the night by their parents, family and friends.

There was a plan to also present a further 2 wheelchairs to Leo Bailey Heath aged 7 from Werrington, Stoke on Trent and Ariella Burn aged 14 from Bebington, Wirral but unfortunately Leo and Ariella were ill and therefore unable to attend.

Golfing honours on the day for the gents were Messrs Pearson and Dougal and for the ladies, mother and daughter duo, Anne and Karen O’Neil.

The Powered Wheelchair Appeal would like to thank the main event sponsor Jigsaw Law and the Ellesmere Port Lions for their hole sponsorship.

Once again many thanks go to all their supporters and local businesses for their generosity and helping to raise such a fantastic amount – THANK YOU!!

British Turkey Federation raises £40,000 (7 Jun 2017)

A massive thank you to everyone involved in BTF’s tremendous effort ...
... and many congratulations to Roger Cooke receiving an award from the industry in recognition of 25 years raising funds for charity.

Cooden Beach GC raises £11,000 (5 Jun 2017)

A huge thank you to all our friends at Cooden Beach GC for another outstanding fundraising effort.

Helsby GC's Spring Dance Presentation (22 Apr 2017)

Supporters of the Appeal recently enjoyed a Spring dance in the clubhouse and the highlight was the presentation of our 355th and 356th chairs to two more deserving youngsters.

The first chair was presented to 17 year old Lloyd Humphries from Stoke on Trent who is quadriplegic and registered blind. Lloyd attends Blackfriars Academy in Bucknall where he enjoys rebound therapy on a trampoline and going in the hydrotherapy pool. He loves music and listening to aquatic sounds and music therapy.

The second chair was presented to 11 year old Zac Maltby from Widnes. Zac attends Lunt’s Heath primary school where he is road safety officer and reading buddy. He loves animals especially sea creatures and his favourite sports person is Usain Bolt.

Both boys were accompanied by their families and carers, and they are all looking forward to the independence the powered wheelchairs will give them.

After the presentations, the supporters enjoyed a meal and entertainment by a musician. There was a raffle and a total of £614 was raised on the night. Many thanks once again to everyone who attended – the ongoing support for the appeal is much appreciated!

Oake Manor raise £27,500 for PAM (4 Mar 2017)

Congratulations to Captains Richard and Jane Clist at Oake Manor Golf Club.

Richard and Jane adopted the Peter Alliss Masters powered wheelchair crusade as their Captains’ Charity for their year and an amazing £27,500 was raised for the Charity.

A huge ‘thank you’ to Richard and Jane and all their magnificent supporters for their magnificent efforts which we all know makes such a massive difference to the children and their families.

Harry Redknapp presents at Ferndown's Alliss Invitational (3 Mar 2017)

Ferndown Golf Club held their annual Alliss Invitational today and raised an amazing £39,000 for charities including the Peter Alliss Masters Powered Wheelchair Crusade.

Harry Redknapp helped Mo Tomlinson with the presentations as two youngsters received their new powered wheelchairs.

A huge thank you to everyone concerned. This was a magnificent effort.

Peter & Jackie Alliss Captains Invite (12 Feb 2017)

Peter and Jackie Alliss hosted an event at the Old Thorns in Liphook to explain to invited Captains of various golf clubs what the Charity was all about and invite them to come on board. Pictured at the event with his Mum Cathy is 7-year-old Kory Collins being presented with his new powered wheelchair.
