MAKING A DONATION

If you or your club are not in a position to raise funds for the purchase of a wheelchair, you can still make a donation to the charity. Any amount, however small, will go towards providing a child with a chair and hence an improvement in their quality of life. All you need to do is send a cheque - made out to the Peter Alliss Masters Golfing Society - to the Charity's Treasurer (see address below). If you have a Charities Aid Foundation account, you can also make a donation that way (click here for more details).
Who is eligible to give us this tax benefit?
You must be a UK tax payer and have paid income tax or capital gains tax equal to the amount the society can reclaim on your donations in any particular year. In addition, if you pay tax at the higher rate, you will be able to recover 18% of the gross value of your donation via your tax return

What needs to be done?
All you have to do is print out and complete the Gift Aid Declaration form which can cover regular or single donations of any amount. This should be sent to the address shown on the right, along with your donation, and we will claim back the tax you have already paid.
GIFT AID
You should also be aware that any contribution an individual makes can be increased by 28% if that person is a UK tax payer. The government's Gift Aid scheme means that for every pound you give to us, we will receive an extra 28p from the taxman - at no extra cost to you.
 For example:-
  * You donate £10
  * The taxman adds £2.82 Gift Aid
  * Peter Alliss Masters receives £12.82
