Since the Peter Alliss Masters Powered Wheelchair Crusade started in 1988, some £6 million had been raised by golf clubs and other organisations to buy chairs for the benefit of needy children across the UK and Ireland.
In 2006, the Peter Alliss Masters organisation gained registered charitable status and implemented, in October of that year, a new Golf Chair Scheme through which clubs now buy their chairs for donation.
Since then, clubs have donated chairs to a value in excess of £200,000 each year and the chart on the right shows the number of chairs and their total value that have been donated by various donor clubs and organisations. Please click on the links to see who donated what to whom over this period.
