Kirby Muxloe GC reached a milestone at their their Wheelchair AM-AM and charity dinner held at the club on 12th September during which they presented wheelchairs to Brodie McCoy, Niall Malone and Craig Nell pictured here.
These chairs were the 50th, 51st and 52th chairs donated to the club in the 13 or so years that the club has been supporting the wheelchair crusade. After the dinner, Willie Thorne the well known snooker player and commentator, who has been a long term supporter of the club's charitable activities, conducted an auction, which along with some kind donations raised in excess of £9000 on the night. This will give the club a robust start to their 2009 Wheelchair campaign.
